Like it’s namesake ocean icon, the Stingray Plunger from Well Master is designed to move through the liquid phase efficiently, effectively getting to it’s destination, prepared to do it’s job.
Many different bypass plungers exist in the market today. Most use specially designed shifter rods or valve types that require special downhole springs or lubricator “stinger” designs to actuate the bypass function. These compromises complicate operation. Complications are not what you need.
Well Master uses a patented design that permits the Stingray to be used with any standard downhole spring and lubricator. The Stingray’s self-contained, spring-loaded valve closes even upon a gentle arrival at the bumper spring and opens when pressure across the plunger equalizes at the lubricator. Simple. Effective. And minimal disturbance to the remaining hardware configuration at your well.
The Stingray’s dual pad arrangement uses oversize pads that increase the sealing area, improving liquid lifting capability. Rapid fall rate through liquids combined with high recovery translates to improved gas and liquid rates. Simple. Effective.
